Capel is offering an exciting new line of fashion-forward area rugs created in partnership with Kevin O'Brien Studio. O'Brien is a renowned Philadelphia-based fabric designer, architect and painter. His designs are distinguished by their unique, contemporary styling and creative use of natural themes and materials.

O'Brien's new rug designs for Capel are in keeping with this chic, organic aesthetic. "Kevin's innovative use of color and the imagery of his designs are quite different for us and a wonderful departure from anything we've ever done," says Tami Watras, director of merchandising for Capel Rugs.

The line features two distinct flavors: The contemporary collection has a hip, downtown vibe, while the transitional designs are more tranquil and serene.

"This new line is bold and fun yet grounded in structure," says O'Brien about the collaboration with Capel, who he calls "an American treasure."
